Color Theory



  1. Hue: Is the word that best describes color
  2. Value: lightness or darkness of a color

  3. Saturation: The state or process that occurs when no more of something can be absorbed, combined with, or added.
  4. 16,777,216 colors are available on our computers.
  5. Secondary color: Colors produced by mixing primary colors.
  6. Tertiary color:When an equal amount of a primer color and a secondary color are mixed,both colors must be next to each other on the color wheel.
  7. Complementary colors: Colors that cancel each other out when mixed.
